Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of ScriptLoom. Last updated August 2026.
Who you are contracting with
ScriptLoom is operated by Joe Mickleburgh t/a Jura ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use ScriptLoom, you agree to these terms and confirm you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
ScriptLoom is a private tool for hypnotherapists to organise their own scripts, build courses of treatment, and read scripts during sessions. It is not a client record system and must not be used to store information that identifies the people you treat.
Your account
You sign in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ScriptLoom for your own professional practice. You may not resell, redistribute or share access to the service.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse ScriptLoom. That includes:
- Using the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
- Infringing anyone's intellectual property in the content you store.
- Attempting to probe, disrupt, scrape or interfere with the service or its security.
- Reverse engineering the service or circumventing its technical limits.
- Storing personal data about your clients or patients, including names, contact details, dates of birth, medical history or identifying case notes.
You are responsible for the content you create in ScriptLoom and for having the rights to any material you store in it.
Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the ScriptLoom service, including its software, design, documentation and branding. Your scripts, notes and courses remain yours — you grant us only the limited right to host and process that content so the service can operate for you.
Service availability
We work to keep ScriptLoom reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change over time, and we may suspend the service for maintenance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Payments and memberships
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics for Friends of ScriptLoom memberships and one-off supporter contributions are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Memberships renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time through Paddle's customer portal; access to supporter status continues until the end of the paid period.
Payments are for digital products and services, not donations. In exchange for a Friends of ScriptLoom membership or a one-off supporter contribution, we grant you an explicit commercial licence: a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use ScriptLoom and the scripts, courses and exports you create in it within your fee-paying professional practice, together with a supporter badge on your account. A monthly membership keeps that licence active for as long as the membership runs; a one-off contribution grants a perpetual licence for the service as made available at the time of purchase. Without a paid licence, ScriptLoom is free to use for personal and non-commercial purposes. The licence does not permit reselling, redistributing or sublicensing ScriptLoom itself, and it does not transfer ownership of the software or our intellectual property.
Liability and warranties
ScriptLoom is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages — including loss of profits, data or goodwill — arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Suspension, termination and disputes
We may suspend or terminate access to ScriptLoom for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When an account ends, your content is deleted in line with our privacy notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.
