Privacy
This page explains what ScriptLoom collects, how that data is used, and what choices you have. It is maintained by Jura.
Who we are
ScriptLoom is operated by Joe Mickleburgh t/a Jura, who is the data controller for the information held in the app. You can contact us about privacy matters at trust@jura.network.
This policy applies to the ScriptLoom web app at scriptloom.app and its custom domains.
What data we collect
When you use ScriptLoom, we store the following data tied to your account:
- Your email address and provider name from Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your scripts: title, summary, rich-text body, script part, tags, techniques, modalities and client presentations.
- Session notes and homework you add to scripts or courses.
- Course plans: course titles, descriptions, tags, and the sessions and scripts within a course.
- Delivery status and word counts used to estimate reading time.
- Your settings: words per minute, AI dialect and summary length, reader preferences, and which tags you have hidden.
We do not store card or bank details, phone numbers, or any client or patient identifying data such as names, contact details, dates of birth, medical records or case notes.
Payments and supporter memberships
If you choose to support ScriptLoom with a Friends of ScriptLoom membership or a one-off supporter contribution, the payment is processed by Paddle, who acts as our merchant of record. Paddle collects the payment details needed for the transaction (such as your billing details) and handles tax, receipts and refunds. ScriptLoom itself never sees or stores your card or bank account numbers.
On our side we record only your membership status and billing period dates against your account, so the app can show your supporter badge and keep it up to date if you renew or cancel. You can manage or cancel a membership through Paddle's customer portal.
Client and patient information
ScriptLoom is a personal tool for organising your own scripts and treatment plans. It is not a client record system. We never ask for, store or process information about the people you treat, including their names, contact details, dates of birth, medical history or session notes that identify them.
Any references to "clients" or "presentations" in the app are descriptive labels you choose for your own scripts. They do not identify real individuals.
How we use your data
We use your data only to run the app for you:
- To display your script library and course plans.
- To search and filter scripts by modality, presentation or text.
- To estimate reading length at your chosen words-per-minute rate.
- To generate a short script summary when you press the summary button.
- To keep you signed in securely.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or train third-party AI models on it.
AI-generated content
When you press the summary button in the script editor, ScriptLoom sends that script's title and body to an AI service through the Lovable AI Gateway, which returns a short one-line summary. This is the only AI feature in the app.
You remain in control: the summary is only stored if you save the script. You can edit or delete it at any time. The AI provider does not use your content to improve its models.
Who can access your data
Your scripts, courses and notes are private to your account. They are not visible to other users, search engines, or the public. The app enforces this through authentication and database-level rules.
Jura may access data only when needed to investigate a bug, respond to a support request, or comply with a valid legal request. We do not browse user content routinely.
How long we keep your data
Your data is kept until you delete your account. You can delete individual scripts, courses and notes from the app at any time. If you would like us to delete all data associated with your account, email trust@jura.network.
Cookies and local storage
ScriptLoom uses a session cookie and browser storage to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use third-party tracking scripts.
Your rights and questions
You can access, edit or delete most of your data directly inside the app. For account deletion requests or any privacy question, contact us at trust@jura.network.
We will respond as soon as possible, usually within a few business days.
