- Printing, exporting or displaying scripts during live sessions.
- Adapting the scripts you create for your own professional use.
Not covered
- Reselling, redistributing or sublicensing ScriptLoom itself.
- Selling the scripts or courses as standalone digital products.
- Sharing your login or allowing others to use your licence.
- Reverse engineering, scraping or building a competing product from ScriptLoom.

Is ScriptLoom really free?
Yes. The core ScriptLoom library, script editor, course builder, and delivery tools are free to use for personal, non-commercial practice-building. There are no paywalls around the features that help you write and deliver hypnotherapy sessions.
What am I actually paying for?
A Friends of ScriptLoom membership or a one-off licence purchase is a purchase of a digital product: an explicit commercial licence to use ScriptLoom and the material you create in it within your paid professional practice, plus a supporter badge on your account.
What does the commercial licence cover?
It grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ScriptLoom commercially — writing, storing and delivering scripts and courses with fee-paying clients, and printing or exporting them for use in your own practice. It does not allow reselling, redistributing or sublicensing ScriptLoom itself.
How long does the licence last?
A £5 a month membership keeps the commercial licence active for as long as the membership is running. A one-off purchase grants a perpetual commercial licence for the version of the service available at the time of purchase.
Is the £5 membership a recurring payment?
Yes, it is billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from the Paddle billing portal, and your licence and supporter badge remain until the end of the period you have paid for.
How is free usage funded?
ScriptLoom is a solo project. Hosting, database, AI, and development costs are paid directly by the developer. Memberships and licence purchases cover those costs and fund new features.
What is Paddle?
Paddle is our merchant of record. They handle card payments, tax, invoicing, and subscription management securely, so your payment information never touches our servers.
